Road Traffic Accidents are a global menace but   in countries like our’s where the pressure on the road infrastructure is manifolds the problem assumes much larger dimensions. Over the past 15 years the Road Network in the country has seen a lot of improvements and as compared to the earlier times the intent is there to install Road Safety Devices for improving the road safety. Correspondingly the pressure of the traffic has also increased enormously. In such a scenario there is a greater need for public at large to be more aware towards Road Safety. The lacklustre approach needs to change. The objective is to bring Road Safety in the forefront of everybody’s thoughts. Situation can not improve unless there is a conscious effort from all road users to always be aware of the need for disciplined driving and adherence to traffic regulatory requirements.
